MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 27, 1993 <br />The Administrator replied that curb and gutter could be <br />included on Jackson Street, but there is some question <br />about curb and gutter due to drainage concerns on <br />Jackson Street. The Administrator suggested that the <br />City Engineer could address the curb and gutter as an <br />option in the feasibility report, and the Council could <br />then decide whether it would be prudent to include it <br />in the improvement or not. <br />Morelan asked if the City has been petitioned for these <br />improvement. <br />The Administrator replied that these projects have not <br />been petitioned for. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-10-251 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ENGINEER TO PREPARE FEASIBILITY REPORTS FOR THE 1994 <br />STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />WORKSHOP The Administrator reported that due to a conflict <br />WITH FIRE on the part of the Fire Department, they would prefer <br />DEPARTIKEN'P to reschedule the November lOth workshop meeting that <br />had been set to discuss the City's level of <br />contribution to the Fire Relief Pension Fund. The <br />Administrator pointed out that the workshop can be used <br />to come to an agreement on the parameters that would be <br />used for determining pension benefit levels as well as <br />the City's contribution. <br />Morelan felt that the workshop was necessary in order <br />to discuss the policy as well as the City's benefit <br />level contribution. <br />It was the consensus of <br />discussions should take <br />workshop meeting. <br />the Council that these <br />place at the next budget <br />BUDGET By consensus of the City Council, a budget workshop <br />WORKSHOP meeting was set for Monday, November 15, 1993, at 7 <br />MEETING P.M. at the City Center. <br />GREEN The City Administrator presented to the Council a <br />VALUE ADD. proposed development agreement for the Green Value <br />DEVELOPMENT Addition. The Administrator pointed out the County's <br />AGREEMENT recommendation that 10 feet of additional road easement <br />Page 19 <br />
