MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEI~SBER 16, 1993 <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ACCEPTING The City Administrator reported that Diane Husak has <br />RESIGNATION submitted a letter resigning her position as Assistant <br />OF DIANE Recreation Director effective December lst. The <br />HUSAK Administrator recommended acceptance of this <br /> resignation with regrets and requested authority to <br /> proceed with the replacement search subject to <br /> evaluation of the position as it relates to the <br /> department as a whole. The Administrator reported that <br /> he and the Parks & Recreation Director would look at <br /> the job description and duties for the position and <br /> revise these, if necessary, to make the department as <br /> efficient as possible. <br /> Scalze agreed that the resignation should be accepted <br /> with regrets pointing out that Ms. Husak has done a <br /> very good job for the City. Scalze suggested that <br /> Husak assist in revision of the job description. <br />Morelan reported that he has worked with Husak over the <br />years and indicated that she has never had a lack of <br />enthusiasm for her duties. Morelan agreed that the <br />resignation should be accepted with regrets, and <br />indicated this is an opportunity to even better the <br />program over what Husak has laid as a foundation. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-11-257 - ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF <br />DIANE HUSAK AS ASSISTANT RECREATION DIRECTOR WITH <br />REGRETS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />PROCEED WITH THE REPLACEMENT SEARCH SUBJECT TO <br />EVALUATION OF THE POSITION AS IT RELATES TO THE <br />DEPARTMENT AS A WHOLE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator reported that the City has <br />received an application for a senior citizen deferment <br />of assessments from the Edgerton water main improvement <br />from Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hanson, as well as development <br />deferments from Ms. Anita Torala for the LaBore Road <br />improvement and Mrs. Joann Neamy for the LaBore Road <br />improvement and Vanderbie Road improvement. <br />Page 4 <br />
