KINUPES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />J'ANI7ARY 26, 1994 <br />1000 of the 8 property owners involved in that <br />project. The Administrator felt it would be very <br />difficult to obtain waivers from 100~ of property <br />owners involved in most projects. The Administrator <br />also pointed out the disparities that could exist in <br />the assessing of different projects if waivers are <br />obtained for one project, but not another. <br />Morelan stated that under Option 3 he has reservations <br />on what the maximum figure should be. Morelan <br />suggested that staff review water main projects over <br />the last five years, determine the cost, and faotor in <br />inflation increases. <br />The Administrator replied that he would obtain this <br />information and place consideration of the assessment <br />policy for single frontage water main projects on the <br />next agenda. <br />WORRSAOP The City Administrator recommended that the Council <br />ON hold a workshop to discuss goals which might be <br />CoMM[INITY accomplished through a community survey. The <br />SURVEY Administrator recommended that a representative of a <br />survey firm be present at the workshop to facilitate <br />discussion. <br />It was the consensus of the Council to hold a workshop <br />on Wednesday, February 9th, at 6 P.M. as recommended by <br />the Administrator. <br />COMM[JNITY The City Administrator reported that Council Member <br />PRIDE Scalze has suggested that the Council discuss the <br />COMMITTEE status of the Community Pride Committee. It was the <br />consensus of the Council to table that discussion until <br />the next meeting when Council Member Scalze is present. <br />PETITION Hanson reported that the City has received a <br />E'OR STOP petition from residents in the area of Keller Parkway <br />SIGN AT and Lakeside Court requesting stop signs at that <br />]KELLII2 intersection. Hanson pointed out that Keller Parkway <br />YI~RRWAY is a County road, therefore, the petition would have <br />& LARESIDE to be forwarded to the County for action. <br />COURT <br />The City Administrator reported that he has discussed <br />the request with Dan Soler of the County, and the <br />County would prefer that the City Council make a formal <br />request for the County to study the intersection. <br />Soler indicated that this was not a typical area where <br />the County would install a 3-way stop.
