MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANIIARY 26, 1994 The City Administrator replied that it was his understanding that the permitting process should begin, but that final approval of hunters would be brought back to the Council. The DNR has indicated that they will assist the City in qualifying hunters, however, this process has been delayed due to the cold weather. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 94-1-22 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 12, 1994 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (4) Morelan, Pedersen, Hanson, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CERTIFICATE The Mayor presented a Certificate of Appreciation to oF APE'RE- outgoing Planning Commissioner Claudia Drabik. Aanson CIATION pointed out that Drabik has served the City in this capacity for the past four years, and thanked her for her dedicated service. Drabik indicated that it was a privilege and pleasure to serve as Planning Commissioner, and she hopes to serve the City again in the future. The Mayor presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Jan Sherman, outgoing Parks & Recreation Commission member. Sherman has served the City in this capacity for the past three years, and the Mayor thanked her for her service. Sherman stated that she enjoyed her service to the City as Park & Recreation Commissioner. ANNOUNCE- Hanson commended the citizen who made the 911 call MENTS earlier this week at the Montreal Courts Apartment complex. Hanson felt that the citizen handled the emergency situation appropriately by calling law enforcement authorities. Morelan reported that last week Patty Wetterling spoke at the St. John's I3ome and School meeting. Morelan reported that the speech was videotaped and recommended Page 2
