MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 9, 1994 <br />to address problems at multiple-housing units. LaValle <br />indicated that a recent letter from Gaughen Companies <br />indicated that they would not like to see the City <br />takes these same actions. <br />Scalze stated that it is up to the City to work with <br />Montreal Courts to make the area a safe one. <br />STREET The Public Works Superintendent presented a proposed <br />POSTING street postinq policy for adoption by the Council. <br />POLICY The Superintendent reviewed that policy in detail, and <br />reported that MN DOT gave notice recommending roads be <br />posted beginning Monday. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-3-62 - ADOPTING THE STREET POSTING <br />POLICY AS PRESENTED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NUISANCE Morelan asked the status of the Public Work <br />ORDINANCE Superintendent's review of the nuisance ordinance. <br />Morelan pointed out that the Superintendent was going <br />to review this ordinance and try to make it easier for <br />staff to enforce nuisance violations. <br />The Superintendent reported that he would have a <br />recommendation to the Council within the next month. <br />PARK Council reviewed the recommendation of the Park and <br />CHARGE Recreation Commission for an increase in the City's <br />ORDINANCE park charge. Hanson questioned an increase <br />in the residential park charge from $400 per single- <br />family to $625. <br />Scalze pointed out that in reviewing the City's park <br />charges it was found that Little Canada has been <br />repeatedly behind what other cities are charging.
