MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 13, 1994 <br />40 mph speed, while the previous MN DOT study recommended <br />35 MPH. <br />LaValle suggested that another MN DOT study be requested <br />based on the petition. <br />Frattalone pointed out that there are only 3 or 4 <br />residences on Country Drive. <br />Scalze noted the residents in the mobilehome court. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-4-97 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO CONTACT MN DOT AND REQUEST A SPEED LIMIT <br />STUDY FOR COUNTRY DRIVE FROM RICE STREET TO LITTLE CANADA <br />ROAD BASED ON THE PETITION WHICH HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY THE <br />CITY REQUESTING THAT THE SPEED LIMIT BE INCREASED FROM 30 <br />MPH TO 40 MPH <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Scalze, Hanson. <br />Nays (1) Morelan. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Scalze requested that when this matter comes back before <br />the Council, that residents along Country Drive be <br />informed that the Council will be considering it. Scalze <br />suggested that the County also be asked for their input. <br />The Administrator noted that the City does not have <br />records of the individual residents in the mobilehome <br />court, but that a notice could be posted at the <br />mobilehome court of the meeting. Residential property <br />owners along Country Drive will be informed of the <br />meeting by mailed notice. <br />SALE OF DUMP Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />TRUCK moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-4-98 - APPROVING THE SALE OF THE CITY~S <br />1980 FORD DUMP TRUCK TO THE HIGAEST BIDDER AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
