MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 27, 1994 PLAT Commission. QUICKSILVII2 The City Planner reported that the preliminary and final plat before the Council is almost exactly the same as a lot split which was approved previously by the Council. One of the conditions of dividing the property at the time was that if any additional work was done, the property would have to be platted. The only change from the property division is that an interior corner of the property has been changed slightly. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was closed. The City Attorney pointed out that the property is a combination of Abstract and Torrens. Easements cannot be recorded as part of the plat on Torrens property, therefore, the City Attorney recommended that any approvals be conditioned upon the preparation and recording of whatever easement documents are necessary. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 94-4-107 - APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT AS REQUESTED BY QUICKSILVER SUBJECT TO THE DEDICATION OF NECESSARY DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS THROUGH THE PREPARATION AND RECORDING OF THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY, AND SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED APRIL 12, 1994 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. RENEWAL Mr. Marty Krogman, MKP, Inc. appeared before the OF BINGO Council requesting approval of the renewal of bingo HAT,L LICENSE hall license at The Market Place Shopping Center. MKP, INC. Staff reported that the necessary renewal documents had been submitted and appear to be satisfactory. 21
