MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 27, 1994 <br />the City this summer. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-4-112 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER <br />TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECS FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF A 450" <br />SECTION OF COUNTRY DRIVE NEAR THE WETLAND AREA AND FOR <br />PATCH AND SEALCOAT OF COUNTRY DRIVE FROM THE RAILROAD <br />TRACKS BY RYAN DRIVE TO RICE STREET, AND CALL FOR BIDS <br />FOR THAT IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />GARDEN The Council reviewed the request of Johanna Meath for <br />TERRACE City participation in the cost of landscaping, flag pole <br />etc. for the Garden Terrace 10th anniversary celebration. <br />It was the consensus of the Council that it was not <br />appropriate to spend City money to improve private <br />property. Hanson suggested that Meath contact the Lions <br />Club for a donation. <br />The City Administrator was instructed to inform Meath of <br />the Council's decision, and suggested that donations from <br />charitable organizations be sought. <br />JET SKIS Pedersen noted the correspondence received regarding jet <br />skis on Gervais Lake. <br />The City Administrator pointed out that Gervais Lake is <br />regulated by both Little Canada and Maplewood. Any <br />ordinance amendments of the nature requested would have <br />to be processed through both cities. The Administrator <br />reported that he would inform the person raising the <br />issue of these details. <br />STOP SIGNS Hanson reported that Mr. Feickert was here earlier in <br />AT LAKE & the evening to thank the Council for the stop signs at <br />JACKSON Jackson and Lake Streets. <br />The Administrator reported that the City has received a <br />30 <br />
