MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 25~ 1994 <br />partition off the garage. <br />Foster replied that the garage doors would face Jackson <br />and he did plan to partition off a portion of the <br />building so he could heat an area. <br />Scalze asked if the Code allows the storage of business <br />equipment on a residential property, but precludes the <br />operation of a business from a residential property. <br />The City Planner replied that commercially-licensed <br />vehicles cannot be stored on a residential property, <br />and pick-up trucks do not fall under this <br />classification. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by LaValle, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-5-126 - APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT REQUESTED BY ALLAN FOSTER OF 2570 JACKSON STREET <br />FOR ACCESSORY BUILDING AREA OVER 1,000 SQUARE FEET <br />SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS <br />CONTAINED IN THIS REPORT DATED MAY 9, 1994 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PROPERTY Mr. Tom Theis appeared before the Council requesting <br />DIVISION - the approval of the division of property at 3025 <br />3025 Arcade Street into three lots. Theis reported that <br />ARCADE he had concern with one of the recommendations of the <br />STREET - City Planner. The Planner is recommending that a <br />TOM THEIS temporary turn-around be provided at the end of <br />Leeward Way, and that the turn-around have a radius of <br />60 feet. Theis reported that a turn-around this large <br />would end up right next to the garages of the new homes <br />which would be built. <br />The City Planner reported that the City can use its <br />16 <br />
