MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 25, 1994 <br />LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA RECREATION ASSOCIATION <br />FOR THEIR NORTH COUNTRY CLASSIC TO BE HELD JUNE 11 AND <br />12, 1994 IN PIONEER PARK, AND WAIVING THE FEE FOR THIS <br />LICENSE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />1993 The City Administrator presented for approval Change <br />IMPROVEMENT Order No. 2 for the 1993 Improvement Projects. This <br />CHANGE change order includes drain tile repairs as well as <br />ORDER sewer and water services along Allen Avenue. <br />Morelan asked if the cost of this change order had been <br />assessed. <br />The Administrator replied that part of the cost of the <br />water stub had been assessed, however, the remaining <br />costs had not. A portion of the sewer costs will need <br />to be addressed at the time a connection is made. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-5-135 - APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 <br />FOR 1993 IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AS PRESENTED BY THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />VANDERBIE/ Morelan reported that he has been contacted regarding <br />ALLEN road settlement along Vanderbie and Allen Avenue in the <br />area where the water main was installed. <br />The Administrator reported that these settlements will <br />be addressed when the final street lift is installed. <br />This is a perfect example of why we let a street go <br />through the freeze/thaw cycle before the final lift of <br />bituminous is put in place. <br />29 <br />
