MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 22, 1994 <br />access to for water craft. <br />There was no one else from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Morelan, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />The City Planner pointed out that Lot 1, and portions <br />of Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block l, lie within the <br />boundaries of the City of Vadnais Heights. Road access <br />for four of these lots is through property within <br />Vadnais Heiqhts. The Planner recommended that a <br />condition of approval of the Preliminary Plat be that <br />the corporate boundary issue be settled between Little <br />Canada and Vadnais Heights. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTSON NO. 94-6-160 - APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY <br />PLAT FOR FOURTEEN (14) SINGLE-FAMILY LOTS AND ONE (1) <br />OUTLOT FOR TWIN LAKE PINES ADDITION AS REQUESTED BY <br />PRATT HOMES AS WELL AS A VARIANCE FOR CUL-DE-SAC LENGTH <br />EXCEEDING THE MAXIMUM ALLOWED UNDER THE ORDINANCE <br />CONTINGENT UPON COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF <br />THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED MAY <br />10, 1994, SUBJECT TO DESIGNATION OF OUTLOT A A5 PRIVATE <br />OPEN SPACE WITH NO PUBLIC ACCESS AND UNDISTURBED <br />DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT, WITH CONTROL OF OUTLOT A <br />TO BE BY THE HOMEOWNERS~ ASSOCIATION FOR THE FOURTEEN <br />(14) LOTS ONCE THOSE LOTS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED AND HOMES <br />OCCUPIED BY THE PROPERTY OWNERS, SUBJECT TO RESOLUTION <br />OF THE CORPORATE BOUNDARY ISSUE BETWEEN THE CITIES OF <br />LITTLE CANADA AND VADNAIS AEIGHTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Aanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Remerowski asked if Vadnais Heights would be able to <br />require a park land dedication for this plat due to the <br />fact that a portion of the property lies in Vadnais <br />Heights. <br />Pratt reported that he has not presented this plat to <br />Vadnais Heights as of this date, therefore, does not <br />know how they will address the park dedication issue. <br />29 <br />
