MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 22, 1994 <br />a position. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-6-155 - DECLARING THAT THE COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA TAKES NO POSITION ON THE CITY <br />OF AFTON/LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES INSURANCE TRUST <br />MATTER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, Pedersen, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RAMSEY The City Administrator reported that he met with <br />COUNTY Barbara Raye of Ramsey County last week on the topic <br />STRATEGIC of oommittee assignments in the County's Strategic <br />PLANNING Planning Process. The deadline for submitting <br /> nominations is July 5th. The Administrator reported <br /> that to date only one individual has expressed an <br /> interest in serving on one of the committees. The <br /> Administrator asked the Council to submit any <br /> nominations to him prior to July 5th, as well as inform <br /> him if any individual Council Members are interested. <br /> The time commitment involved is approximately two days <br /> per month for about a year. <br /> The Administrator also asked for authority for each <br /> department head to serve on one committee. <br /> Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 94-6-156 - AUTHORIZING CITY DEPARTMENT <br /> HEADS TO EACH SERVE ON ONE COMMITTEE INVOLVED IN THE <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC SAFETY On behalf of the Council and Staff, Hanson wished <br />residents a safe Fourth of July holiday weekend. <br />
