MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />J[ILY 13, 1994 <br />Gervais replied that they have not. <br />Morelan asked if soil tests have been done on the <br />property. <br />The Council was informed that soil tests have been done <br />and the soils will support the type of development <br />proposed. The soils on the northern parcel are less <br />dense than those on the south. <br />Morelan asked the estimated valuation of the building <br />proposed. <br />Anderson replied that the site and building <br />improvements are estimated at $800,000 without the <br />land. Anderson described the exterior of the building <br />proposed as well as landscaping and screening proposed <br />for the site. Anderson reported that the property <br />owner wants the site as attractive as possible. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Pedersen, seconded by LaValle, the <br />public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-7-193 - APPROVING TI-IE REZONING OF <br />PARCEL B, THE NORTHERN PARCEL OF THE GERVAIS PROPERTY, <br />FROM I-P DISTRICT TO I-1 AS REQUESTED BY D& T TRUCKING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-7-194 - APPROVING THE PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT TO ALLOW JOINT USE OF TWO SEPARATE PARCELS <br />AS REQUESTED BY D& T TRUCKING SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE <br />WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS <br />CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED JULY 12, 1994 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />20 <br />
