MINLI'PES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 12, 1994 <br />sees no problem with it, is recommending that <br />Frattalone submit a final drawing of the berm for City <br />records. <br />Scalze asked if the City would be assuming any <br />maintenance responsibility for the berm. <br />The City Administrator reported that the slopes on the <br />berm are maintainable and that the abutting property <br />owner would be responsible for maintenance. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-355 - APPROVING THE FRATTALONE <br />BERM ALONG RYAN DRIVE SUBJECT TO RECEIPT OF A FINAL <br />DRAWING FOR THE BERM <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNTRY The City Administrator reported that MN DOT has <br />DRIVE done a speed study on Country Drive between Little <br />SPEED Canada Road and Rice Street, and is recommending the <br />LIMIT posting of a 35 mph speed limit on that street, subject <br />to study by the Public Works Superintendent of the <br />speeds and warning sign postings along the curves. In <br />discussing this with MN DOT, it was their <br />recommendation that the curves on Country Drive be <br />posted at 30 mph. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-356 - ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION <br />OF MN DOT FOR INCREASING SPEED LIMIT ON COUNTRY DRIVE <br />FROM 30 MPH TO 35 MPH AND INSTRUCTING THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />SUPERINTENDENT TO POST COUNTRY DRIVE ACCORDINGLY AFTER <br />HIS EVALUATION OF THE PROPER SIGNATE FOR THE CURVES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Hanson, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0).
