MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 12, 1994 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />CLOSED <br />SESSION - <br />SCHMIDT <br />MATTER <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-351 - APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: <br />*APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION JUDGES FOR TFIE NOVEMBER <br />GENERAL ELECTION: <br />*APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE <br />CANADA RECREATION ASSOCIATION HALLOWEEN DANCE; <br />*ACCEPTANCE OF PETITION FOR SEWER IMPROVEMENT AS <br />SUBMITTED BY FRANK FRATTALONE, AND INSTRUCTING THE <br />CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR SUCH <br />IMPROVEMENT~ <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Hanson, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Attorney requested a closed session to <br />discuss the Schmidt settlement offer. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-10-352 - CALLING FOR A CLOSED SESSION <br />FOLLOWING THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING TO DISCUSS THE <br />SCHMIDT SETTLEMENT OFFER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Aanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LICENSE & The City Administrator reviewed his recommendation <br />PERMIT for increases to the City's mechanical, electrical, <br />FEES hauler and contractor fees. The Administrator reported <br />that surveys of other cities have been conducted, and <br />Little Canada's license and permit fees have fallen <br />behind. Also, the electrical inspector has requested <br />an increase to electrical permit fees. There has been <br />no increase in these fees for the past six years. The <br />7 <br />
