Resolution declared adopted. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />APPROVING PARK VIEW COURT TOWNHOME ASSOCIATION TO JOIN CITY <br />ORGANIZED COLLECTION PROGRAM <br />The Acting City Administrator explained that tonight the Council is asked to consider a resolution <br />authorizing the Park View Court Association to join the City's organized collection of mixed <br />municipal solid waste and recyclable materials. She provided background information, noting that all <br />townhome associations are now able to opt in to the program and this is the first request. She provided <br />more specific background information on this request and the actions that have been taken by the HOA <br />Board in preparation for this request. <br />Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2025-4-55 — A UTHORIZING PARK VIEW COURTASSOCIATION <br />TO JOIN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA -S ORGANIZED COLLECTION OF MIXED <br />MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLABLE MA TERIALS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AWARD CONTRACT FOR CITY HALL ROOF REPLACEMENT <br />The Public Works Director provided background information on the City Hall and History Center <br />roofs, both of which are due for replacement. He stated that the roof will be completed prior to the <br />installation of the solar panels later this year. He provided an overview of the roof plans, bidding <br />process, and some bid alternatives that were considered but were not pursued because of the additional <br />cost. Staff recommend approval of the project as presented. He stated that $131,000 was budgeted for <br />the two roofs and advised that there are available funds to cover the additional amount. <br />Malone asked if the cedar walls would be addressed separately. The Public Works Director confirmed <br />that could be done in the future as there were not sufficient funds to include that with this project. He <br />confirmed that the intention is to solve the dripping problem in the front of the building. <br />Mayor Fischer recognized the additional cost above what had been budgeted but believed that it makes <br />sense to get it done, and ensure it is done right. <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 025-4-56 — APPRO VING THE BASE BID B Y BER WALD ROOFING <br />FOR REROOFING CITY HALL AND THE HISTOR Y CENTER A T A PRICE OF <br />$165,900 <br />iq <br />
