MINi7TES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 26, 1994 sent to the property owners referred to preliminary plat approval only. Even though final plat does not require a public hearing, Morelan suggested that action on the final plat should be delayed until the next meeting. In that way the floor agenda can be published noting that the final plat will be considered. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-368 - APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR CANADA WOODS WEST AS SUBMITTED SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED OCTOBER 11, 1994, AND SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION WITH REGARD TO PARK CHARGE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Hanson, Scalze, LaValle. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. CUP TO MOVE Hanson opened the public hearing to consider the HOUSE INTO application by Derek Rusch for a Conditional Use THE CITY - Permit to move a house into the City. The property RUSCH in question is located at 2539 Ruth Street. The Planning Commission has recommended approval of the CUP. Morelan asked where the house would be coming from. Rusch replied that the house must be moved out of St. Paul as part of the new high school construction project taking place. The house is 4 years old. Rusch reported that he would own and occupy the house. Scalze noted that one of the property owners on Ruth Street appeared at the Planning Commission meeting and made the statement that he felt the house would be a good addition for the neighborhood. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Morelan, the public hearing was closed.
