Even though final plat does not <br />require a public hearing, Morelan suggested that action <br />on the final plat should be delayed until the next <br />meeting. In that way the floor agenda can be published <br />noting that the final plat will be considered. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-10-368 - APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY <br />PLAT FOR CANADA WOODS WEST AS SUBMITTED SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER <br />AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED OCTOBER 11, 1994, AND <br />SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PARK AND <br />RECREATION COMMISSION WITH REGARD TO PARK CHARGE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Hanson, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP TO MOVE Hanson opened the public hearing to consider the <br />HOUSE INTO application by Derek Rusch for a Conditional Use <br />THE CITY - Permit to move a house into the City. The property <br />RUSCH in question is located at 2539 Ruth Street. The <br />Planning Commission has recommended approval of the <br />CUP. <br />Morelan asked where the house would be coming from. <br />Rusch replied that the house must be moved out of St. <br />Paul as part of the new high school construction <br />project taking place. The house is 4 years old. Rusch <br />reported that he would own and occupy the house. <br />Scalze noted that one of the property owners on Ruth <br />Street appeared at the Planning Commission meeting and <br />made the statement that he felt the house would be a <br />good addition for the neighborhood. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Morelan, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />7 <br />
