MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
DECII4BER 21, 1994
GILANDERI, The City Administrator reported that a neighborhood
KELLER meeting was held to discuss improvement of Gilanderi
PARKWAY & Lane by water main and street improvement. While it
VIKING DR. appears that the property owners support a water main
IMPROVE:MENTS improvement, support for a street improvement is less
certain.
At a neighborhood meeting to discuss Keller Parkway
water main improvement, the majority of the residents
appeared to support the improvement. The Administrator
reported that Ramsey County will be conducting a joint
meeting of Little Canada and Maplewood residents to
discuss the Keller Parkway road improvement. That
meeting is tentatively scheduled for February lst.
The Administrator also reported that a neighborhood
meeting of Viking Drive residents was held and while it
was obvious that there was support for the water main
improvement, there was not a consensus on the street
improvement.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 94-12-43"I - ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY
REPORTS SUBMITTED FOR THE GILANDERI LANE, KELLER
PARKWAY, AND VIKING DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS AND CALLING FOR
PUBLIC HEARINGS TO BE IIELD ON THESE IMPROVEMENTS ON
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18, 1995 AT A TIME TO BE DETERMINED
BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
LITTLE The City Administrator submitted for approval a lease
CANADA agreement with the Fire Department for the new fire
FIRE DEPT. station, a quit claim deed releasing the Fire
Department's interest in the old fire station property,
and a letter from the Fire Department spelling out the
disposition of personal property at the old fire
station site.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
33
