MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEPSBER 21, 1994 <br />unless written permission is obtained from the adjacent <br />property owner to place the fence on the property line. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 397 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />903.020.,SUBD. F., 2. OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, REGARDING <br />THE LOCATION OF BOUNDARY LINE FENCES <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Ordinance declared adopted. <br />Morelan noted the Planner~s comments at the Planning <br />Commission meeting that the screening of <br />commercial/industrial fences from residential property <br />is addressed in the Landscape Ordinance. Morelan asked <br />if this was a problem and whether the issue should be <br />clarified in the Fence Ordinance so one would not have <br />to move from one ordinance to another in determining <br />all the various requirements. <br />The City Planner suggested that the language in the <br />Landscape Ordinance could be repeated in the Fence <br />Ordinance, however, noted that it was just a matter of <br />being familiar with the City's Codes. <br />Morelan was concerned that the requirement would get <br />missed, and suggested that staff discuss the matter and <br />make a recommend for change if it is determined <br />necessary. <br />TIMA LOT Hanson reported that there is 100 feet of road right- <br />SPLIT/ of-way for Bluwood Avenue and 40 feet for Australian. <br />AUSTRALIAN- The Tima property abuts both streets, and Mr. Tima <br />BLUWOOD would like to find a way to divide his property and <br />STREET develop two additional lots. <br />OPTIONS <br />Morelan reported that he is a property owner in the <br />area, and due to conflict-of-interest, will abstain <br />from any discussion or voting on this matter as a <br />Council Member.
