Hanson also <br />felt that the Administrator communicated very well with <br />the print media, that he was well respected and very up <br />front and honest in his dealings. <br />Scalze gave an E+ rating stating that the Administrator <br />excels in this area. He has a good rapport with the <br />public, she liked the way he conducted neighborhood <br />meetings which takes stress off the City Council. <br />Morelan felt that this was the most important category <br />and gave the Administrator an E+ rating. Morelan felt <br />that the Administrator excelled in this area noting <br />that complaints from the public are almost non- <br />existent. <br />Both LaValle and Pedersen gave E+ ratings as well. <br />Scalze rated the Administrator at E in <br />Intergovernmental Relations. Scalze felt there was <br />real improvement in this area, that the Administrator <br />had a good relationship with the City of Roseville, <br />which is of primary importance to this City. Efforts <br />should continue in economic development and promotion <br />of youth programs. <br />Morelan gave an E+ rating, standing that the <br />Administrator exceeded every standard on the evaluation <br />form. Morelan felt that the Administrator had gotten <br />to know a lot of his peers around the area and was <br />highly regarded. <br />LaValle stated that he gave a E rating, but that it <br />should have been an E+. LaValle felt the Administrator <br />was becoming recognized as a leader with other city <br />managers, and was well respected by Commander Bergeron <br />of the Sheriff's Department. <br />Scalze suggested that her rating should have been an E+ <br />as well. <br />Pedersen rated the Administrator as an M-. Pedersen <br />stated that it was his sense that the Administrator was <br />not networking with other cities as much as he would <br />like to see. <br />Aanson qave an E rating, and felt that the <br />7 <br />
