MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANi7ARY 18 , 19 9 5 <br />It was the consensus of the Council that after the <br />94/95 winter season the City would discontinue the <br />plowing of Gilanderi Lane given that it is a private <br />drive. <br />There was no one present from the general public <br />wishing to comment further on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Morelan, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-1-16 - ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. 94-7, <br />IMPROVEMENT OF GILANDERI LANE BY WATER MAIN (OPTION N0. <br />2), AND AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Morelan asked how much of the estimated $60,000 for the <br />cost of the water main improvement included patching <br />the street. <br />The City Engineer estimated that $4,600 for replacement <br />of the disturbed blacktop. <br />IMP. NO. Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the <br />93-2 - improvement of Keller Parkway lying between a point <br />KELLER approximately 700 feet northeasterly of Little Canada <br />PARKWAY Road and Arcade Street by water main improvement. <br />WATER MAIN Fahey pointed out that the meeting this evening is for <br />the issue of water main improvement only. An <br />informational meeting on the road improvement planned <br />by the County will be held at City Hall on Monday, <br />January 30th, at 7:00 P.M. <br />Fahey pointed out that a neighborhood meeting was held <br />on the proposed water main improvement in November. At <br />that meeting 8 of the 10 property owners present <br />favored the water main improvement if the road <br />improvement is done. Fahey pointed out that the City <br />is holding the improvement hearing prior to a decision <br />on the road improvement in an attempt to get the most <br />favorable interest rate on the bonds which would <br />18 <br />
