MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 25, 1995 Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-1-27 - DENYING THE APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO MOVE A HOUSE ONTO A LOT AT 256 TWIN LAKE TRAIL BASED ON THE VERBAL WITIiDRAWAL OF THE APPLICATION BY MR. AND MRS. GRAF The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The Council discussed the direction the City Planner and City Attorney should take in revising the ordinance. It was felt that issues such as minimum square footage of the house to be moved in, requiring that the house fits the character of the existing neighborhood, age and condition of structure should all be considered. ORDINANCE Fahey opened the public hearing to consider an RELATING TO ordinance amendment relating to the requirements for FENCING AND fencing and screening of commercial, industrial, and SCREENING OF multiple-family property abutting residential property. COMMERCIAL It was pointed out that the Planning Commission has PROPERTY recommended approval of the ordinance. FROM RESIDENTIAL The City Planner reported that the ordinance amendment clarifies the fencing ordinance by including requirements which already exist in the landscaping ordinance. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was closed.
