MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 25, 1995 <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-1-27 - DENYING THE APPLICATION FOR <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO MOVE A HOUSE ONTO A LOT AT <br />256 TWIN LAKE TRAIL BASED ON THE VERBAL WITIiDRAWAL OF <br />THE APPLICATION BY MR. AND MRS. GRAF <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council discussed the direction the City Planner <br />and City Attorney should take in revising the <br />ordinance. It was felt that issues such as minimum <br />square footage of the house to be moved in, requiring <br />that the house fits the character of the existing <br />neighborhood, age and condition of structure should all <br />be considered. <br />ORDINANCE Fahey opened the public hearing to consider an <br />RELATING TO ordinance amendment relating to the requirements for <br />FENCING AND fencing and screening of commercial, industrial, and <br />SCREENING OF multiple-family property abutting residential property. <br />COMMERCIAL It was pointed out that the Planning Commission has <br />PROPERTY recommended approval of the ordinance. <br />FROM <br />RESIDENTIAL The City Planner reported that the ordinance amendment <br />clarifies the fencing ordinance by including <br />requirements which already exist in the landscaping <br />ordinance. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 400 - AMENDING SECTION 903.020 OF TfiE <br />LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, RELATING TO TIiE REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR FENCING AND SCREENING ON CERTAIN COMMERCIAL, <br />13 <br />
