MINUTES CITY COUNCIL J7INUARY 25, 1995 The possibility of adding a question about leaf pick-up was discussed. Since there is little possibility of the City adding this service due to the need for additional equipment and disposal areas, it was felt that this question should not be asked. The Administrator recommended that question #62 be reworded. Council agreed. Council discussed the questions relating to crime, and it was felt that question #66 should be eliminated. It was felt that a question relating to "traffic speed" should be added to the listing under question #68. Questions #69 and #70 were discussed and it was felt that these two questions should be combined with reference merely to crime rather than crimes against property and crimes against people. The questions relating to the Fire Department were discussed, and it was felt that #77 and #78 should be eliminated. The Council discussed questions #72 and #73 relating to the Neighborhood Watch Program, and the general consensus was that these questions should remain as is. There was detailed discussion on questions #81 through #g8• The Council felt that these questions should be clarified by changing the reference from "Community Parks'~ to "5pooner Park and Pioneer Park" and "Neighborhood Parks" to "All Other Parks and Playgrounds". The Administrator suggested that question #92 be changed to tie in the cost implications of plowing City trails. Council discussed questions #93 through #95. It was felt that question #93 should read "Generating revenue for the City by renting or leasing City ballfields to outside groups who run tournaments for a profit". Question #93B should then ask if the respondent would feel the same way if alcoholic beverages would be sold at the tournament. Morelan suggested that question #95 was more properly 2
