MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
FEBRUARY 8, 1995
the one-way is less of an option than was originally
thought.
Scalze pointed out that the one-way option would impact
a large portion of the City.
Fahey did not believe the City should do anything to
encourage the County to give it back additional
roadways. Fahey agreed that a letter should be
obtained from the County which states their position.
Morelan asked about the stop sign issue.
The City Administrator reported that he had felt if a
survey was to be done on the one-way option, the issue
of a stop sign at Lakeside Court could be addressed as
well. If the survey does not proceed, there is no
reason to address the stop sign.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 95-2-47 - AUTHORIZING STAFF TO EVALUATE
THE BASIC FEASIBILITY OF A SEPARATED PATH ALONG KELLER
PARKWAY, INCLUDING COST IMPLICATIONS, AS WELL AS THE
FEASIBILITY OF PAVED SHOULDERS, AND INSTRUCTING STAFF
TO NOTIFY KELLER PARKWAY PROPERTY OWNERS AS WELL AS
OTHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE JANUARY 30TH INFORMATIONAL
MEETING THAT THIS MATTER WILL BE DISCUSSED BY THE
COUNCIL AT THEIR NEXT MEETING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
Scalze asked if there will be any attempt to channel
away standing water on Keller Parkway.
The Administrator reported that the County is planning
to channel as much standing water as possible working
in the confines of what is allowed by the Watershed.
COMMi7NITY The Administrator pointed out that the final community
SURVEY survey question to be resolved has to do with signage
at City Hall.
The Council reviewed suggested formats for the signage
15
