MINU'PES
CITY COUNCIL
MARCH 22, 1995
Fifield replied that part of the process is to help the
Council and community define the goals it wants to
achieve. Presently, it may be possible to list some
general goals, but Fifield was not sure that those
goals were complete, or correct, or that a majority of
the Council agreed with them. Fifield pointed out that
in addition to being a project team member, his firm is
financial advisor for the City. Fahey indicated that if it became necessary
to condemn this piece to go forward with the
redevelopment project, he would support condemnation.
Fahey pointed out that the site is a vacant piece of
land.
Guerin reported that the site has remained vacant
because of the development moratorium.
