MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 12, 1995 RICE STREET/LITTLE CANADA ROAD AREA, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, 5calze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Fahey noted the recent editorial from a member of the Fire Department on the subject of this ,>tudy. Fahey reported that the opinion expressed was strictly an individual opinion and not representative of the Fire Department. It was also noted that the Fire Department currently has adequate rescue equipment, although the Fire Department has requested funding to enhance the equipment they have now. WORKSHOP TO Council discussed the scheduling of a workshop to DISCUSS begin discussion of the development gui~9e process. DEVELOPMENT The consultant group is recommending that the first GUIDE PROCESS workshop be held on Monday, April 24th. Morelan requested that, if possible, the worksh~~p be held on Tuesday, April 25th. The Administrator indicated that he would have to determine if the consuLtants are available for the evening of the 25th. Mr. Morelan introduced the following re;aolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-4-103 - CALLING A WORIZSHOP TO DISCUSS THE RICE STREET/LITTLE CANADA ROAD DEVE:LOPMENT GUIDE PROCESS FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 25, 1995 AT '7:00 P.M., IF POSSIBLE, OTHERWISE THE WORKSHOP WILL B:E HELD ON MONDAY, APRIL 24TH, AT 7:00 P.M.
