MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 12, 1995 his entering into a contract with the City. Terms and conditions of that contract would be at the City~s discretion. The Administrator reported that Mr. Finsness has done some work for the City in the past, and that work was satisfactory. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-7-167 - HIRING MR. PAUL FINSNESS AS ARCHITECT FOR THE OLD FIRE STATION PROJECT SUBJECT TO HIS EXECUTING A CONTRACT WITH THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Morelan, LaValle, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. PERSONNEL Council reviewed the proposed Personnel Policy, and POLICY the City Administrator recommended some minor wording changes on pages 34 and 35 of the Policy. The Administrator also recommended an effective date of January 1, 1995. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-7-168 - ADOPTING THE PERSONNEL POLICY AS SUBMITTED INCLUDING THE ADDITIONAL WORDING CI-IANGES RECOMMENDED BY TAE CITY ADMINISTRATOR WITH THE POLICY'S EFFECTIVE DATE TO BE JANUARY 1, 1995 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Fahey, Morelan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. AMENDING In conjunction with the terms of the Personnel Policy, CITY it was recommended that the City Administrator ADMINISTRATOR ordinance be amended giving the Administrator the ORDINANCE authority to hire and fire personnel. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: ORDINANCE N0. 416 - AMENDING CHAPTER 211.030.C. OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, RELATING TO THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
