MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JULY 26, 1995
of the project.
LaValle felt that a committee of twelve was to
cumbersome, and suggested that perhaps the committee
should be comprised of the Mayor, Council Member
Scalze, former Mayor Hanson, and the City
Administrator. LaValle also suggested that prior to
commencing meetings with the architect, a public
meeting could be held with anyone interested, inviting
the public at large, to solicit comments and
suggestions for the project.
Scalze agreed, pointing out that the building will be a
community building, and public input should be
solicited.
The City Administrator felt it important that the
affected parties offer input on the project before any
decisions are made. The Council instructed the City Administrator to
schedule the meeting, publish a notice inviting the
public to attend, and make arrangements for the meeting
to be cablecast.
CANADA WOODS The City Administrator reported that the developer has
DEVELOPMENT approved the Canada Woods Development Agreement, with
AGREEMENT a change in the completion date to October 31, 1995.
The City Attorney has reviewed the agreement and finds
it acceptable.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
5
