MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTENIBII2 13, 1995 <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-9-208 - DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO <br />PREPARE POLICY GUIDELINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR LAND <br />ACQUISITION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Morelan pointed out that this action step could be <br />time-consuming, therefore, perhaps a lower priority for <br />staff. <br />The City Administrator stated that he anticipated this <br />issue would be discussed by the Council a few times <br />until it becomes more focused and refined. <br />Scalze asked if the Watershed should be engaged in <br />discussions at this point. <br />The Administrator replied that the Watershed is aware <br />of the City's intentions on storm water issues, and <br />staff is aware that they are a critical player in the <br />process. <br />Morelan asked when it would be appropriate to look at <br />lifting the development moratorium on the study area, <br />given the current timetable. <br />The Administrator replied that this could be discussed <br />at the next workshop. <br />Morelan pointed out that the Market Place developers <br />may want to begin making improvements in the shopping <br />center. <br />Fahey pointed out that the next workshop to discuss the <br />Development Guide will be held on Wednesday, September <br />27th, at 6 P.M. at City Hall. <br />CONSENT Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />AGENDA moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-9-209 - APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: <br />*ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF MIKE KRIZ; <br />*SCHEDULING RICE STREET/LITTLE CANADA ROAD DEVELOPMENT <br />18 <br />
