MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 1995 <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, Fahey, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Ordinance declared adopted. <br />4'RANSFER OF Mr. Bob Grootwassink, Market Place Center Limited <br />BINGO IIALL Liability Company, appeared before the Council <br />LICENSE and reported that he is in the process of purchasing <br />the Market Place Shopping Center. Mr. Grootwassink <br />requested approval of the transfer of the bingo hall <br />license held by MKP, Inc., the current owner of the <br />shopping center, to Market Place Center Limited <br />Liability Company. <br />LaValle pointed out previous discussion that the <br />Council has had relating to premise permits at the <br />bingo hall. At premise permit renewal time for each <br />charity, the Council will be looking at the benefit to <br />the community provided by the individual charity. Mr. <br />Grootwassink should keep this in mind when negotiating <br />leases with the charities. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-9-223 - APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF <br />BINGO HALL LICENSE FROM MKP~ INC. TO MARKET PLACE <br />CENTER LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY SUBJECT TO SUBMISSION <br />OF SIGNED LEASE AGREEMENTS WITH THE CHARITIES, AND <br />SUBJECT TO COMPLETION OF THE PURCHASE OF THE MARKET <br />PLACE SHOPPING CENTER BY MR. BOB GROOTWASSINK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />FRATTALONE Mr. Mark Fourre appeared before the Council relative <br />PROPERTY to continuing concerns he has with the condition of <br />CONCERNS the Frattalone property. <br />Fahey pointed out that this matter was discussed at the <br />August 23rd Council meeting, and it appears that <br />significant progress has been made. <br />Fourre disagreed and submitted pictures of the property <br />which he had taken today. Fourre's concern was with <br />the number of unlicensed and inoperable vehicles on the <br />property. Fourre pointed out that there is to be no <br />outdoor storage on the site. Fourre reported that he <br />would like the south property line of the Frattalone <br />7 <br />
