MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 11, 1995 <br />ON-SALE Based on the Council's discussion of on-sale liquor <br />LIQUOR license and wine license fees at the budget workshop, <br />LICEN5E it was the consensus to call a public hearing to <br />FEE5 consider increasing these fees. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-10-233 - CALLING A PUBLIC I3EARING FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 1995 AT 7:30 P.M. TO CONSIDER <br />INCREASING THE ON-SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE FEE <br />BY $500 PER YEAR FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS AND THE WINE <br />LTCENSE FEE BY $200 PER YEAR FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (1) LaValle. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Morelan suggested that a copy of the liquor license <br />survey results be sent to the liquor establishments <br />along with their hearing notice. <br />AMUSEMENT At the budget workshop meeting, the Council discussed <br />VENDOR the license fee for amusement devices. <br />LICENSE FEES <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-10-234 - INSTRUCTING TI3E CITY <br />ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT INCREASING <br />AMUSEMENT DEVICE LICENSE FEES TO $100 PER YEAR FOR UP <br />TO THREE MACHINES, AND $50 PER MACHINE FOR FOUR <br />MACHINES AND ABOVE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />BUDGET Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />WORKSHOP moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-10-235 - CONTINUING THE BUDGET <br />WORKSHOP TO NOVEMBER 8, 1995 AT 6:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
