MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 149 2025 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Gutierrez introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2025-5-74 — APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA, WHICH <br />CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING. - <br />Approval of the Vouchers <br />• Call for a Joint City Council and Planning Commission Workshop on June 12, 2025, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br />• Approve Designation of Kade Paulson as Little Canada Building Official <br />• Approve the Hire of Evan Glunz as Utility Billing/Administrative Support Specialist <br />• Adopt Ordinance 913, Amending City Code Chapter 1701, Tree Management <br />• Approve a Temporary Liquor License for Little Canada Recreation Association for July <br />31 — August 3, 2025 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />CONSIDER 2025-2026 LIQUOR, TOBACCO, AND AMUSEMENT LICENSE RENEWALS <br />The City Clerk presented the annual license renewals for tobacco, liquor, and amusement licenses. She <br />stated that all the businesses are renewals, and staff are working to secure the necessary documents. <br />Mayor Fischer asked if everyone is passing the inspections for liquor and tobacco. The City Clerk <br />confirmed that staff are currently working on the fire inspections, and all that have been inspected have <br />passed. She did not anticipate any issues. <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2025-5-75 —APPROVING THE LIQUOR, TOBACCO, AND <br />AMUSEMENT DEVICE LICENSES FOR JULY 1, 2025, TO JUNE 30, 2026 AS <br />PRESENTED, SUBJECT TO ALL REQUIRED MATERIALS, FEES, AND RECEIPT OF <br />SATISFACTORYBACKGROUND CHECKS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ACCEPT STEWARDSHIP GRANT FROM THE RAMSEY WASHINGTON METRO <br />WATERSHED DISTRICT FOR PIONEER PARK STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS AND <br />APPROVE GRANT AGREEMENT <br />The Parks and Recreation Director stated that the Pioneer Park stormwater project is currently <br />underway and reviewed the improvements identified for this area in order to improve water quality and <br />treatment, along with trail improvements. He stated that due to the cost, staff began to explore <br />alternative funding sources and met with Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) <br />5 <br />
