" <br />Scalze agreed, and suggested that those property owners <br />be approached to determine if they would support the <br />trail connection. <br />Johnson suqgested that a map be put together for the <br />Commission's review. <br />The Administrator suggested <br />should take steps to obtain <br />across NSP property. <br />that at a minimum the City <br />the necessary easements <br />Remerowski stated that he was not interested in putting <br />this matter on the Commission~s agenda and inviting the <br />affected property owners in for comments without a <br />consensus from the Council of where they stand on the <br />issue. <br />Scalze suggested that if a meeting with the property <br />owners is held, perhaps it should be a joint meeting of <br />the Council and the Commission. <br />Fahey indicated that the Council needs to reach a <br />consensus of where to go with this issue. <br />Scalze did not believe there would be support on the <br />Council for condemnation if the property owners were <br />strongly opposed to giving their land for trail <br />easement. <br />Fahey stated that he would favor either completing the <br />trail system, or rerouting it if it is not possible to <br />complete the connection.
