The Director felt, however, City support <br />was required for all the organizations operating in the <br />City. <br />Fahey suggested that perhaps phase three would be to <br />plan for the consolidation of Public Works locations. <br />LaValle stated that the City needs some long-range plan <br />for Public Works. <br />Fahey pointed out that in the year 2003, the City's <br />debt levy drops off. That may be the time to plan for <br />a new Public Works facility. Fahey asked how much <br />storage space Canadian Days needed at the old fire <br />station site. <br />Ray Hanson replied that with some additional shelving <br />in the east bay, Canadian Days' storage needs would be <br />addressed. <br />Scalze suggested that a planning document was necessary <br />to phase in the various facility needs over the next 5 <br />to 10 years. 5calze suggested options such as closing <br />off Noel Drive on the south end with a cul-de-sac would <br />8 <br />
