MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 24, 1996 <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 96-4-98 - DENYING JOAN GUDMUNDSEN~S <br />APPLICATION FOR MASSAGE THERAPIST LICENSE BASED ON THE <br />FACT THAT IT DOES NOT MEET THE CITY'S ORDINANCE <br />REQUIREMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ARBOR DAY Mayor Fahey announced that Friday, April 26th, 1 P.M., <br />the City will hold its annual Arbor Celebration in <br />Gervais Mill Park. Fahey then proclaimed Friday, April <br />26th as Arbor Day in the City of Little Canada, and May <br />as Arbor Month. <br />CONSENT Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />AGENDA moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-4-99 - APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*CALLING A WORKSHOP MEETING WITH THE LITTLE CANADA <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 1996 AT 6:30 <br />P.M. AT CITY HALL; <br />*APPROVING A LEAVE OF ABSENCE AS REQUESTED BY BEVERLY <br />JESPERSEN. <br />The foregoing resoluiton was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COMP PLAN The City Planner distributed the latest revisions to <br />UPDATE the City's Comprehensive Plan Update, and suggested <br />that the City Council could now call a public hearing <br />to review the Comp Plan with the general public. <br />The City Administrator suggested that he review the <br />Comp Plan update schedule with the Planner, and will <br />make a recommendation on the process to the Council at <br />a later date. <br />RECESS At this point in the meeting, 8:55 P.M., Council took a <br />short recess.
