MINi1TES CITY COUNCIL NNE 26, 1996 hours. Pedersen pointed out the Special Use Permit must be reviewed by the Council in one year~s time. If it is evident there are problems resulting from the home occupation, the Council can refuse to renew the permit. Morelan suggested that the CUP be restricted to one employee on the premises at a time. Pedersen disagreed with the restriction, and asked Dr. Ryan her opinion. Dr. Karen Ryan replied that she did not want the CUP tied to this particular person which she plans to hire, and would hope that should she need two part-time employees that would be allowed. Ryan pointed out she has enough off-street parking for six vehicles. Fahey felt the restriction of one employee on the premises at a time was reasonable. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 96-6-149 - APPROVING THE SPECIAL HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT REQUESTED BY DR. KAREN RYAN AT 2570 MCMENEMY ROAD SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF TI-IE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED JUNE 10, 1996, AND SUBJECT TO THE RESTRICTION OF ONLY ONE EMPLOYEE ON THE PREMISES AT A GIVEN TIME The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PROPERTY Council reviewed the application submitted by Mark DIVISION - Fourre to divide his property at 2602 Park Street into 2602 PARK two single-family lots. Mr. Fourre owns six 25-foot STREET lots and would like to divide them into two 75-foot lots. Both the Planning Commission and City Planner have recommended approval of the property division. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter.
