MINU'PES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 10, 1996 <br />TRI-MAGNET <br />SCHOOL SEWEF2 <br />approval. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-7-159 - ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN AS REVISED, AND AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO SUBMIT <br />THIS PLAN TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR THEIR REVIEW <br />AND APPROVAL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator submitted to the Council for <br />approval an agreement providing for the connection of <br />the Tri-Magnet School to Little Canada's sewer system. <br />The Administrator recommended that approval be subject <br />to review and approval of the City Attorney. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-7-160 - APPROVING THE TRI-MAGNET <br />SCHOOL SEWER AGREEMENT AS SUBMITTED, SUBJECT TO REVIEW <br />AND APPROVAL BY TI-IE CITY ATTORNEY, AND AUTHORIZTNG THE <br />MAYOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />1997 The Council reviewed the list of potential improvement <br />IMPROVEMENT projects for 1997 submitted by City staff. Staff is <br />PROJECTS recommending that Council authorize the City Engineer <br />to prepare feasibility reports for these projects. <br />The first project discussed was Arcade Street between <br />Keller Parkway and County Road D by roadway <br />reconstruction including installation of curb and <br />gutter and storm drainage improvements. Water main <br />between ICeller Parkway and LaBore Road would also be <br />included. Scalze asked if there was adequate right-of- <br />way for a wider road section to accommodate pedestrian <br />traffic. <br />The City Administrator assumed there was, and indicated <br />that he would note this as part of the feasibility <br />
