MINU'PES CITY COUNCIL JULY 10, 1996 TRI-MAGNET SCHOOL SEWEF2 approval. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 96-7-159 - ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AS REVISED, AND AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO SUBMIT THIS PLAN TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR THEIR REVIEW AND APPROVAL The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Morelan, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator submitted to the Council for approval an agreement providing for the connection of the Tri-Magnet School to Little Canada's sewer system. The Administrator recommended that approval be subject to review and approval of the City Attorney. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 96-7-160 - APPROVING THE TRI-MAGNET SCHOOL SEWER AGREEMENT AS SUBMITTED, SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY TI-IE CITY ATTORNEY, AND AUTHORIZTNG THE MAYOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 1997 The Council reviewed the list of potential improvement IMPROVEMENT projects for 1997 submitted by City staff. Staff is PROJECTS recommending that Council authorize the City Engineer to prepare feasibility reports for these projects. The first project discussed was Arcade Street between Keller Parkway and County Road D by roadway reconstruction including installation of curb and gutter and storm drainage improvements. Water main between ICeller Parkway and LaBore Road would also be included. Scalze asked if there was adequate right-of- way for a wider road section to accommodate pedestrian traffic.
