Scalze
questioned whether the Council should approve a
variance which continues a non-conformity.
Fahey asked if the Planner's recommendation or approval
of the variance was based on the fact that the Belland
property was a lot of record before the current Code
was adopted.
The Planner replied that that was correct, and pointed
out the shape of the property makes it difficult to
use.
Scalze stated she believes the Belland property was
platted as an outlot. The City then allowed a building
to be constructed on an outlot.
The Planner reported that the Belland's are having
their survey information updated, and have found the
10
