MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 27~ 1996 <br />Pedersen felt limiting the back portion of the building <br />to retail would be an unnecessary restriction. <br />Fahey again suggested that any use other than retail <br />would have to be presented to the Council for review. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 96-11-288 - APPROVING THE PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO OPERATE A RETAIL AND INCIDENTAL <br />STORAGE AND MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN THE PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AS REQUESTED BY ALL AMERICAN <br />RECREATION LOCATED AT 2940 RICE STREET SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER <br />AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED NOVEMBER 12, 1996 AND <br />SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITA THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AS OUTLINED IN THEIR MINUTES DATED <br />NOVEMBER 14, 1996, AND SUBJECT TO NO REDUCTION IN THE <br />APPROVED AMOUNT OF RETAIL USE UNLESS A PROPOSAL IS <br />PRESENTED TO AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Morelan, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ARCHITECTURAL Council reviewed the architectural design for the <br />REVIEW - Budget Power space proposed in the Market Place <br />BUDGET POWER Shopping Center. It was noted that the Planning <br />Commission has recommended approval. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 96-11-289 - APPROVING THE ARCAITECTURAL <br />DESIGN FOR REMODELING OF THE MARKET PLACE SHOPPING <br />CENTER IN RELATION TO SPACE TO BE LEASED TO BUDGET <br />POWER AS PRESENTED BY THE OWNERS OF THE MARKET PLACE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMENDMENTS Fahey opened the public hearing to consider <br />TO miscellaneous amendments to the Shoreland Ordinance <br />SAORELAND to conform to DNR requirements.
