MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 27~ 1996 <br />these amendments. <br />The City Planner explained that the DNR is suggesting <br />conformance with State shoreland management rules. <br />Once an ordinance has been adopted making these <br />amendments, the City then requests flexibility from the <br />requirements because the land around the area is <br />already developed, therefore, not able to comply with <br />the ordinance requirements. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishinq to comments on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 449 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LITTLE <br />CANADA ZONING ORDINANCE TO INCLUDE SHORELAND REGULATION <br />PROVISIONS FOR TRIBUTARY WATERWAYS AND AMENDING THE LOT <br />WIDTH REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSISTENT WITH DNR <br />REQUIREMENTS FOR USES WITHIN THE SHORELAND OVERLAY <br />DISTRICT <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Ordinance declared adopted. <br />CONSENT Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />AGENDA moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-11-290 - APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: <br />*APPROVING THE CERTIFICATION TO PROPERTY TAXES OF <br />DELINQUENT SEWER AND WATER ACCOUNTS, REFUSE COLLECTION <br />ACCOUNTS, AND FALSE ALARM ACCOUNTS; <br />*APPROVING THE FINAL PAYMENT REQUEST FOR THE OLD FIRE <br />STATION ROOF REPLACEMENT AS REQUESTED BY BERWALD <br />ROOFING~ <br />*APPROVING THE PAYMENT REQUEST FOR CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 <br />AS REQUESTED BY AA CONTRACTING~ <br />*CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER $6,840,000 <br />MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS SERIES <br />1996A AND $391,000 TAXABLE MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE <br />5 <br />
