<br />Table 1: Strategic plan reporting tool heading definitions <br />Heading Definition <br />Strategic Direction The overarching four categories that define the overall strategic <br />work plan <br />Strategic Direction Goal The purpose of this column is to show the results of completed <br />action items <br />Action Items This column shows actions that need to be completed to obtain <br />the direction result <br />Priority of Action Item Outlines the priority of the action item, starting specifically <br />with years 1-3 of the plan. <br />Key Outcome Indicator This column shows the true “nuts and bolts” of how to actually <br />complete an action items <br />Assigned Department <br />Assigned Staff Member <br />Assigns the responsible department and staff member for each <br />action item. <br /> <br />The status for each action item will once again be broken into five categories and is based on <br />100% completion for each individual item. Those items have been assigned one <br />of three statuses and articulated in the reporting tool: <br />• No longer strategic priority - remove from action items <br />• Ongoing process <br />• Superseded by 2025 plan <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends reviewing the attached strategic plan retreat documentation as well as the <br />2025-2030 strategic plan progress reporting tool. At the City Council Workshop, staff will ask <br />Council for feedback and make adjustments based on feedback.
