MINUT~S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 14, 1997 <br />The City Administrator indicated tl~at the availability of the space will be <br />advertised on the City's cable TV channel as well as through the legal <br />newspaper. <br />DEMOLITTON The City Administrator recommended that the low quote of IIerbst & <br />OF BUDG~T Sons Constructiai in the amouut of $18,350 be awarded for the <br />POWER demolitio~~ of the Btiidget Power building. The City Administrator reviewed the chan~e-order f'or the Arcade Street <br />IMPROVEM~NT im~rove~nent which pro}~oses the insulation oFa section of water main. <br />CHANGE- This change-order would result in a savin~s of $13,'700 for the project but <br />ORDER will also result in the loss of eight mature trees. The original work scope <br />involves lowerii~g the water main. Administrator stated that the work <br />results in a betCer (ong-term project as well as saving the trees. The <br />
