MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 10, 1997 <br />vacation contin~ent upon the retention of a sanitary sewer easement. The <br />Administrator recommended a I S foot width for that easement. <br />Mr. Thomas Jungmann indicated that he was not aware of the location of <br />the sanitary sewer line, and asked how that would affect his plans for <br />developing his property. <br />The City Administrator replied that he had not seen Mr. Jungmann's <br />buildin~; plans so he was not prepared to answer that question at this time. <br />The Administrator pointed out the need to preserve an easement for the <br />sewer so the City has the ability to maintain the line in the future. The <br />Administrator pointed out that utility maps as well as the location of <br />manholes in the area will give Mr. Jungmann a pretty good idea of where <br />the sewer line lies. <br />Mr. Jungmann suggested that he review the sewer location and its effect <br />on his development plans before the City proceeds with the vacation. <br />There was no one from the ~eneral public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Morelan, the public hearin~ was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI.UTION NO. 97-9-21 D- T~9737,ING ACTION ON THE <br />VACATION FOR A PORTION OF VIKING DRIVE RICHT-OF-W,9Y <br />PENDING THE INDICATION FROM MR. JUNGMANN THAT HE <br />WISHES THE CITY TO PROCEED WITH THE YACATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />GRADING Mr. Frank Frattalone appeared before the Council requesting approval of <br />PERMIT FOR a grading permit for a piece of property located at the end of Spruce <br />ST. PAUL Street which he would like to purchase from the St. Paul Water Utility. <br />WATER Frattalone indicated that he would like to develop this property with an <br />UTILITY office-warehouse type of buildin~ or some other use allowed under <br />PROPERTY the I-P Zonin~ District. Frattalone pointed out that the property across the <br /> street is zoned I-P and the property to the south is zoned Industrial. <br /> Frattalone indicated that there is a great deal of gradinn work that needs to <br /> be done as well as a concrete pad constructed over the St. Paul Water <br />
