VIKING DRIVE 13ASED ON THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF 7HE PI.ANNINC COMMISSIONAS <br />WELL AS THE FINDINGS AS OUTI.INED IN THE CITY <br />PLANNER'S REPORT DATED MARCH 9, 1998 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator indicated that City staff is recommending that the <br />fee associated with the variance application be waived. The Administrator <br />noted that Mr. Farley took the appropriate steps in making application for <br />a building permit for the addition to his home, and the fact that a variance <br />was required was missed by City staff. The Administrator also pointed <br />out that it is because of the fact that the City took road easement for <br />Gilanderi Lane that the Farley house became non-conforming and a <br />variance was required. This condition was not created by the property <br />owner. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the f'ollowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. UTION NO. 98-3-~ 9- WAIVINCi THE FEE ASSOCIATED <br />WITH THE FAXI.EY VARIANCE APPI.ICATION I3ASED ON THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITYADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider a Conditional Use <br />FIEARING- Permit allowing the use of the City parking lot at the corner ofLittle <br />CUP FOR Canada Road and McMenemy Road as off-premise parking for the Old <br />OFF-PREMISE Fire Ha(l. Both the Plannin~ Commission and the City Planner have <br />PARKING - recommended approval of the CUP. <br />OLD FIRE fIALL <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Morelan, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />
