Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator reported that there has been some discussion about <br />whether or not $25 meal allowance for out-of-town business travel for <br />City employees and the Council was adequate. <br />Morelan asked if tl~e City would reimburse the cost of phone calis home <br />while an employee or Council Member was on City business. Pedersen <br />reported thaC this expense has not been reimbursed in the past. Fahey and <br />Morelan stated that they felt this should be a reimbursed expense. <br />Morelan stated that in reviewing the travel allowance policies of <br />surrounding cities, he liked Falcon I-Ieights' policy which provides $35 per <br />day for reimbursement for meals, phone calls, and miscellaneous <br />expenses. Fahey agreed and stated that up to $35 per day would be <br />reasonable. It was pointed out that expenses would need to be receipted. <br />Fahey stated that he did not support the reimbursement of an employee's <br />deductible sl~ould a personal vehicle be involved in an accident while the <br />
