MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 24, 1998 Fahey suggested Yo Cl~ester that next year she come in to discuss alternate plans with the Council. However, for this year, unless tl~e majority of the Council does not wish to go i'orward with the goose management program, it will proceed. Fahey sfafed that he did not want to wait for a five-year study to be concluded, while in the melntime, residents are inconvenienced and City parks are desecrlted. Chester asked that the City not t11<e all the geese this year. Fahey stated that he tmderstood the depth of feelin~ that Chester has on the issue, and indicated that next year the Council would consider other options. GUERIN The City Attorney submitted for Co~u~cil action a resolution initiating PROPERTY acquisition ofthe Guerin property located 1t 2822/2826 Rice Street as well as a resolution establishingjust compensation for the property based on the appraised value.
