MINUTES <br />CiTY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEIVIBER 23, 1998 <br />GORDIES' hockey six nights per week, three tournaments per year, hours of operation <br />to be 6 P.M. throu~h 10 P.M., and any lighting which may be installed to <br />face away from the adjacent condominium property. The Plannin~ <br />Commission also reserved the right to conduct a review of this operation <br />after three years. Fahey noted that the City has received one letter in <br />opposition to the CUP and one in support of it. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />The City Planner noted that he did not prepare a report on this application <br />given the recent consideration to expand the volleyball activity at Gordies <br />is similar to this request. The Planner noted that the discussion which <br />occurred at the Planning Commission meeting reflects the comments of <br />his office. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI,UTION NO. 98-9-228 -APPROVINC, A CONDITIONAI. Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP TO MOVE Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the request of <br />A GARAGE Charles Meyer to move a garage onto his property at 2900 Edgerton <br />INTO THE Street. Fahey noted that the Planning Commission recommended <br />CITY - approval subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City <br />2900 Planner, and subject to re-siding of the garage to match the house within <br />EDGERTON - one year. The Council reviewed the Buildin~; Off'icial's report on this <br />CHARLES request, and noted that there are several building code requirements which <br />MEYER will have to be met before the garage can be moved in. <br />Meyer indicated that the sidin~ on the garage leaves somethin~ to be <br />desired, and indicated that he will reside the garage to match the house <br />within the one-year timetable as recommended by the Planning <br />4 <br />
