MiNUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 23, 1998 Commission. Meyer also indicated that the bottom plates on the garage are not treated wood; however, they are not rotten. Meyer indicated that he would speak with the Building Official to determine what he needs to do to ensure that the garage meets code. Fahey pointed out that Mr. Meyer will have to comply with the requirements imposed by the Building Official, and suggested that he coordinate this work with the Building Official. There was no one present from the general public wishin~ to comment on this matter. Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Pedersen, the public hearing was closed.
