MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 14, 1999 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey, LaVatle. <br />Nays (0). Reso(ution declared adopted. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 99-1-11- ACCEPTING FEASII37LITY REPORT <br />AND CALLING AN IMPROVEMENT HEARINC ON THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF COUNTY ROAD 73-2 FROM EDGERTON TO <br />ARCADE STREET BY RECYCLED ROADWAY, CONCRETE CUR73 <br />AND GUTTER, AND DRAINAGE IMPRO[~EMENTS ON <br />WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 1999 AT 6:30 P.M. <br />The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ED NADEAU The City Administrator reported that Ed Nadeau is interested in having <br />PROPERTY the City purchase his property located on Country Drive. The City had <br />previously approached Mr. Nadeau relative to the purchase of the <br />property, however, at that time he was not interested. The Administrator <br />pointed out that the property could be added to other parcels the City has <br />acquired for the purposes of redevelopment. <br />The Administrator indicated that Mr. Nadeau prefers that he be cashed out <br />of the property. However, he is wi(ling to consider a contract-for-deed if <br />the City will not purchase in cash due to TIF District cash flow <br />considerations. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLDTIONNO. 99-1-12 - APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF <br />THE ED NADEAU PROPERTYLOCATED ON COUNTRY DRIVE AS <br />RECOMMENDED 73Y THE CITYADMINIb'TRATOR WITH THE <br />PURCHASE TO 73E MADE VIA A CONTRACT-FOR-DEED FOR A <br />TERM OF TEN YEARS <br />The fore~oing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RICE STREET/ The City Administrator reported that Chris Moarn is having difficulties <br />LITTLE in signing a lease with a tenant for the project he is proposing on the <br />15 <br />
