Resolution declared adopted. <br />OLD FIRE The City Council reviewed the information relative to the insurance limits <br />HALL - required for rentals of the Old Fire Hall where alcohol is to be served. The <br />INSURANCE City Administrator indicated that the issue is the convenience for people <br />T.IMITS renting the Old Fire Hall versus requiring higher limits to protect the City. <br />The City Administrator pointed out that regardless of the level of <br />insurance limits required by the City, individuals would be free to sue the <br />City for ~vhatever amount they deem appropriate. <br />Fahey indicated that ~iven that the City does not allow rentals of the Old <br />Fire Hall that would involve the sale of alcohol, he feels insurance limits <br />in the amount oF$500,000 are adequate. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.SOI, UTION NO. 99-3-67 - APPROVING INSURANCE LIMITS <br />FOR THE RENTAL OF TIIE OLD FIRE FIALL WHERE AI.COFLOL <br />IS 73EING SERVED IN TFIE AMOUNT OF $SOq 000 PER <br />OCCDRRENCE AS RECOMMENDED 73Y CITY STAFF <br />The fore~oin~ resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (1).
